by News Editor

Overview

The Cyprus Agri-Food Forum 2026 will take place from 3 to 5 November at the Goethe-Institut in Nicosia, bringing together agricultural and agri-food professionals, researchers, industry experts, policymakers and other stakeholders from across Cyprus.

Organised by the eunite Programme, the forum returns for its second edition following last year’s event, which brought together more than 150 stakeholders from Cyprus and the European Union.

This year’s theme, “Digital Roots – Bringing Farms, Food and Markets Together,” will explore how digital tools, knowledge sharing and bi-communal cooperation can help make local food systems more sustainable, resilient and competitive.

What To Expect

The three-day programme will combine conference discussions, presentations, technology demonstrations and field visits, with a focus on practical innovation in agriculture, fisheries and rural development.

On 3 and 5 November, sessions will examine new technologies, climate-friendly agriculture and European Union policies. The programme will also feature panel discussions on Green Line trade and community empowerment, alongside keynote presentations and opportunities to explore innovative technologies and their applications.

On 4 November, participants will have the opportunity to visit local agri-food enterprises to learn about the innovations and successful practices that are being implemented across the island.

The forum aims to encourage knowledge sharing and cooperation among those working in agriculture, fisheries and rural development, with particular attention to how technology and collaboration can strengthen Cyprus’s food systems.

The forum is aimed at farmers, fishermen, food enterprises, rural entrepreneurs, consultants, experts and community leaders from across Cyprus.

It is also relevant to professionals and organisations interested in agricultural innovation, sustainable food production, rural development, digital technologies and cooperation between the island’s two communities.
