Cyprus Advances Plans For Larnaca, Vasiliko And Latchi Ports

Plans for the development of Larnaca port and marina, Vasiliko port and the expansion of Latchi port were discussed this week by Transport Minister Evi Tsolaki and the new board of the Cyprus Ports Authority (CPA).

The meeting took place at the CPA’s headquarters, where officials briefed Tsolaki on the authority’s development plans and priorities, with a focus on upgrading Cyprus’ port infrastructure.

Port Projects Focus On Capacity And Competitiveness

Discussions covered the planning and prospects for the three projects, including their role in improving port infrastructure and the competitiveness of Cyprus’ maritime sector.

The CPA also briefed the minister on progress across its wider development programme. Tsolaki expressed support for the planned projects and highlighted the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works’ cooperation with the authority.

Larnaca, Vasiliko And Latchi Projects Move Forward

The meeting is part of ongoing coordination between the ministry and CPA as Cyprus prepares to advance port development projects. The authority said closer cooperation will support the implementation of the planned upgrades across the country’s main ports.
