Crypto adoption is not just about technology. It also depends on whether businesses not only understand digital assets but also have the opportunities to connect with the people who use them.
This was the idea behind the Crypto People Meeting Point, an initiative by CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid. Launched on 15 May 2026 and now hosted at STOA Urban Kitchen in Limassol, Crypto People Meeting Point brings local businesses closer to the city’s crypto community, creating opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and new professional connections. The emphasis is on a casual setting where conversations can flow freely.

“We wanted to create a place where people could meet naturally, exchange ideas and discover opportunities,” said Max Krupyshev, Executive Leader at CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid
From Pizza Day To Crypto Thursday

The programme has brought together investors, entrepreneurs and professionals working in crypto, fintech, forex and iGaming, alongside local businesses and crypto enthusiasts.
Following its opening party, activities included Bitcoin Pizza Day, which commemorates the famous 2010 purchase of two pizzas for 10,000 BTC. Crypto Thursdays have combined a special menu with informal networking and community activities.
Discussing Stablecoins And Business Payments
Education has also formed part of the programme, with sessions featuring Nataliia O’Keeffe, Account Sales Executive at CryptoProcessing by Coinspaid.
The sessions examined the use of stablecoins in payments and settlements. Stablecoins are digital assets designed to maintain a stable value, often relative to a currency such as the US dollar. Discussions covered topics such as liquidity, transaction speed, and the operational processes involved in using them for business payments.

“Education is one of our key missions. We believe the industry grows stronger when knowledge is shared, and businesses understand how crypto works in practice. Initiatives like Crypto people meeting point help bring these conversations closer to the community and make complex topics more accessible,” O’Keeffe said.
A Venue For Industry Conversations

STOA Urban Kitchen has also provided a setting for recorded discussions and content shoots, including Krupyshev’s interview with The Future Media for its The Future Makers series.
Filmed at the venue, How Stablecoins Are Moving Crypto From Trading to Business Payments with Max Krupyshev explores the use of stablecoins for commercial transactions and their relationship with traditional financial systems.

The Human Side Of The Crypto Industry
For the team, one of the most valuable outcomes of the initiative was seeing local businesses and the crypto community connect in-person. Educational sessions, meetups, and creative projects provided people with different reasons to come together, exchange experiences, and build relationships offline.
Crypto People Meeting Point continues under its main principle: building a stronger crypto ecosystem depends not only on technology, but also on accessible knowledge and the connection between people and businesses.
