The program, launched in Cyprus in 2023, is part of Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou’s efforts to support young entrepreneurs. More than €360,000 has been awarded since its launch.
The 2026 edition follows a record 77 applications in 2025. George Chrysostomides, founder of Limassol-based Shrine Solutions Ltd., won the €100,000 first prize for its e-commerce technology platform, shrine.io.
Chrysostomides later pledged the full prize to young entrepreneurs and families facing financial hardship in Cyprus. Chrystallena Poulli of CP Herbalist received €60,000, while Harout Chouldjian and Panayiotis Frantzesko of Luxmery received €40,000.
The awards fund increased from €100,000 in 2024 to €200,000 in 2025 and remains at that level for the 2026 competition.
