ETEK Opens €100,000 Participatory Budget For Member-Led Projects

by THEFUTURE.TEAM

The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (Etek) has launched applications for the sixth edition of its participatory budget, setting aside €100,000 to support member-driven initiatives with tangible value for both the profession and the wider public.

Funding For Practical, High-Impact Ideas

Under this year’s programme, individual projects or actions may receive grants of up to €20,000. Etek said proposals must fall within the chamber’s areas of activity and responsibility, extend beyond its membership, and deliver a clear benefit to professionals and society at large.

The chamber is looking for initiatives that produce a practical outcome or usable deliverable. In other words, proposals should go beyond discussion or research and create broader added value in a form that can be applied in practice.

Who Can Apply

Applications may be submitted by individuals or legal entities that are members of Etek. Each proposal must also be countersigned by at least two additional chamber members, ensuring a collaborative and member-backed process.

How Proposals Will Be Reviewed

Submissions will be evaluated by a five-member committee appointed to assess the applications.

Deadline And Submission Details

Applications must be submitted exclusively by email to [email protected] by 2pm on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Applicants are advised to review the terms of the call carefully and complete the application form in full before submitting. Additional information and supporting documents are available on the Etek website.
