Wizz Air is restoring several routes to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah and Amman, with services returning between September and October.
Routes Return Across The Network
Some services have already resumed. Budapest-Amman restarted Sept. 22 with three weekly flights from €29.99, while Rome-Jeddah resumed Sept. 7 with four weekly flights from €59.99. Milan-Jeddah returned Sept. 6 and now operates seven times a week, with fares starting at €49.99.

Several other routes are scheduled to resume from Oct. 25 or Oct. 27, including Budapest-Abu Dhabi, Budapest-Dubai, Budapest-Jeddah, Cluj-Abu Dhabi, Krakow-Abu Dhabi, Katowice-Abu Dhabi and Bucharest-Dubai.
For Cyprus, Larnaca-Abu Dhabi will return Oct. 27 with three weekly flights. Sofia-Abu Dhabi will also operate three times a week from Oct. 27, while Budapest-Abu Dhabi will run four times weekly from Oct. 25 and Budapest-Dubai five times a week from the same date.
Budapest-Jeddah and Cluj-Abu Dhabi will resume Oct. 27 with three and two weekly flights, respectively. Krakow-Abu Dhabi will operate three times a week from Oct. 27, while Katowice-Abu Dhabi will run five weekly services from Oct. 25. Bucharest-Dubai will also restart Oct. 25 with seven flights a week.
Pricing And Safety Assessments
Advertised fares on the returning routes range from €24.99 for Larnaca-Abu Dhabi to €79.99 for Krakow-Abu Dhabi and Bucharest-Dubai.
Wizz Air said the decision followed the latest review and revision by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) of its conflict-zone recommendations for the region. The airline also completed its own operational and security assessments before restoring the services.
Ongoing developments will continue to be monitored in coordination with relevant authorities, with all flights remaining subject to operational and security assessments.
Winter Demand Supports Network Recovery
“We are delighted to confirm that Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Amman are returning to the Wizz Air network,” Olivia Harangozo, Wizz Air’s corporate communications manager, said. “We know how much our customers have missed these destinations, and their return comes at exactly the right moment, as people begin planning their winter escapes,” she added.
Wizz Air expects the four destinations to attract winter travelers seeking warmer weather, with daytime temperatures in the region regularly reaching around 25°C during the European winter.
For Cyprus, the return of Larnaca-Abu Dhabi provides a notable addition to the recovering network. Continued service, however, remains dependent on operational and security conditions in the region.
