Yiannos Georgiades, Founder and Managing Partner of Y. Georgiades & Associates LLC, has launched G & A LEX Consultancy LLC in Dubai. The new firm is licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence and innovation, administrative and business consulting, project development, and corporate services.
The launch signifies an active move by a Cypriot legal practice into the UAE market, after more than three decades of international legal and business experience. G & A LEX will work independently while maintaining a working relationship with Y. Georgiades & Associates and a wider international network of legal and professional advisers.

This launch aims to build a professional corridor connecting the UAE and MENA region with Cyprus, Greece, the wider Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with Cyprus acting as the connecting jurisdiction between the Middle East and the European Union.
Why Dubai And Why Now
The Dubai launch responds to a gap that Georgiades had identified early in the market. From his team’s experience, clients who were active in markets across the UAE, MENA, and Europe increasingly sought out integrated advice from a single point of contact. The traditional model of separate legal, corporate, and strategic advisers no longer matched how clients wanted to work.
“We saw growing demand for advisers who can combine legal understanding with business strategy, corporate services, technology, innovation and international market access,”
said Yiannos Georgiades.
“Many clients no longer want fragmented advice from different providers. They want one trusted point of contact that understands both the commercial opportunity and the legal and regulatory environment. Establishing G & A LEX in Dubai allows us to be closer to clients, investors and decision-makers and to respond more effectively to opportunities across the UAE and the wider MENA region.”

The decision to launch a new venture came, ultimately, from the struggles of existing clients. Georgiades and his team were already representing clients with cross-border interests connecting the UAE, Cyprus, and Europe before the formal launch.
“Before the formal launch, we were already representing important clients with interests in cross-border expansion, corporate structuring, AI and innovation projects, and opportunities linking the UAE with Cyprus and Europe,”
Georgiades said.
“We were also working with businesses, investors, technology companies and professional partners active in or looking towards the region. This existing client work and these relationships demonstrated that there was a genuine need for a multidisciplinary platform with both local presence and international reach. The launch was therefore not simply based on an idea; it was a response to real market demand and opportunities already beginning to develop.”
Cyprus As The Strategic Bridge
The stated goal is to give Cyprus-based businesses direct access to the UAE market through a familiar legal and professional structure, while offering UAE and MENA clients an entry point into the European Union.
“Cyprus can play a central role as a strategic bridge between the Middle East and Europe,” said Georgiades. “It offers strong legal, professional and financial expertise, an EU business environment and longstanding commercial links with the region. We aim to help businesses from the UAE and MENA use Cyprus as a gateway to European markets, while also supporting Cypriot and European companies seeking to establish a presence, attract investment or expand into the Gulf.”

Who G & A LEX Will Serve
The client base already includes startups and technology companies seeking growth, funding, and international expansion opportunities, as well as established businesses, investors, and family offices considering cross-border expansion, corporate development, and strategic project implementation.
Georgiades’s own educational and professional background in international law, artificial intelligence, innovation, and venture capital is the foundation of the service focus. The firm’s stated areas of activity involve AI and innovation projects, cross-border corporate structuring, project development, and access to specialised legal and professional expertise across multiple jurisdictions.

G & A LEX will maintain its independence while developing strategic relationships with professionals, businesses, investors, and innovation ecosystems internationally. The intent is a cross-jurisdictional model structured around long-term collaboration with clients and partners across markets.
